Are you all idiots? this was awful! - Meet the Fockers Reviews

I found a review which perfectly sums up my thoughts. Here it is......... Be forewarned -- every funny moment in the movie is featured in the trailer. Sad, but true. It is an awful movie (and there are obviously a lot of idiots out here that SOMEHOW liked it). Why is it awful? Let me count the ways. 1. An over-reliance on PREDICTABLE sexual humor. Sexual humor can be very funny. This wasn't funny at all. Ok -- Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand like to "get it on." Ok -- but do you really think to repeat this 50 times is funny? Twice -- maybe three times -- funny. 50? Repetitive and boring. 2. A flimsy conclusion. Do you really expect us to believe that DeNiro's character (bad-ass) changes miraculously in the end? Do you expect us to believe that this former CIA agent is fine with hugging and kissing Hoffman's character? And you think this "bad-ass" really wants to ignite sexual passions with his wife? Come on? No way. This sucked. 3. Get rid of the kid. There is an extreme over-reliance on a little kid/baby in this movie which borders on the pathetic. Ok -- give us a couple jokes with the baby, but again....50 so-called joke references to a little kid? My God -- this was so "focking" annoying. Really...... 4. Way too long. Get rid of 40 minutes (at least). And that should be easy. Toward the last 30 minutes, there are NO funny scenes. NONE. Awful. It was terrible. And I'm stunned to see anyone give it a rating over a "C." Anyone who gave it a "C" or above is either stupid or they were drunk.
